Agreement and customer contracts

By using the website or services, you agree to these terms. Signed-in use may also be governed by your organization’s order, subscription agreement, data-processing agreement, or other written contract. That written contract controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Accounts and authorized use

BuildTrail is a business service for authorized users of customer organizations. Keep your login secure, provide accurate account information, and use only the organizations and records you are permitted to access. Your organization manages user roles and access.

Construction and roofing support

BuildTrail helps teams manage customers, properties, visits, estimates, projects, work orders, and roofing assessments. It supports professional work but does not replace an inspection, engineering opinion, code review, legal advice, insurance decision, or the judgment of a qualified professional.

Weather information is supporting context and does not prove damage or causation at a property. Measurements, observations, scope, prices, and final reports must be reviewed by authorized people.

Customer data

Customer organizations and their users keep their rights in the content they submit. They give CurlyByte Solutions permission to host, process, back up, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and secure the service. Users must have the rights and permissions needed for the data they upload or record.

Acceptable use

• Do not use BuildTrail unlawfully or to violate another person’s rights.
• Do not access accounts, organizations, records, or systems without permission.
• Do not disrupt the service, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, or misuse integrations.
• Do not present preliminary or unreviewed information as a final professional conclusion.

Service and third-party information

We may maintain, update, or change the service. Public weather, map, imagery, and other third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or subject to separate provider terms. Review source dates and limitations before relying on that information.

Ownership

BuildTrail, its design, software, and branding belong to CurlyByte Solutions or its licensors. These terms do not transfer that ownership. Customer content remains subject to the customer agreement.

Suspension, warranties, and liability

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material breach. The customer agreement governs termination and data return.

The service is provided subject to the warranties and liability terms in the applicable customer agreement. Where no customer agreement applies, mandatory legal rights remain unaffected and any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Law, changes, and contact

The customer agreement determines the governing law and venue. Mandatory U.S. federal or state law and Canadian federal or provincial law remain unaffected where they apply. We may update these terms and will show the new effective date. Material changes affecting a signed-in service will be communicated as required by the customer agreement or law.
